Creation 1986: 

Stemming from "passion" of 12 collaborators of Renault V.I., ARAVI is born in september 1986.

Redemption by these enthusiasts of an old "proto G260" having more of 680 000 kms of endurance, and with investment of 1 500 hours of work; transformation of this "wreck" into "truck of running".

All members had the passion of nice mechanics, but none of them had past in motor racing event.

At the beginning in "Running in 1987".This year, ARAVI registered for the 3 national tests:

-CASTELLET : They get on to "podium"; right from their 1st race!

-CHARADE : They finished in the top five!

-24h of LE MANS trucks : New podium and for complete 1987, they decided to make a media operation with Emmanuel BELLIER (recordman of the world of speed monoski; 181 kms/h).

On december 12th 1987, Emmanuel, perched on the roof of G2460, succeded in crossing 187,68 kms/h on the taxiway of the International Airport St Exupery of Lyon.

Having so flirted with success, it was decided to attempt "European adventure" from next season.

Since 1988, Team ARAVI stays defend his name on frenchs and europeans circuits.

From his creation ARAVI collaborates with Renault V.I.

SOME NOTABLES POINTS IN LIFE OF ARAVI :

• 1991 : Auspicious year for ARAVI.
  A world first one, collaboration with the society CARBON INDUSTRY; ARAVI were the first to adapt brakes to carbon discs on a industrial truck of running.
  With this very modern equipment, ARAVI made a world speed record on the lane of St Nazaire's airport (2500 meters) : 201,81 kms/h performed on a CS400 (of 10 000 cm3, mono-turbo, without aerodynamics devices, no additionnal brake....parabrake!)
• 1996 : ARAVI lines up the first "Premium" in race in Castellet.
• 1997 : Vice-champion of France on "CS 400" (super truck); pilot : J.L. Fournier.
• 1998 : Vice-champion of France on "Premium" (truck race); pilot : J. Perret.
• 1 999 : Vice-champion of France on "Premium" (super truck); pilot : J.L. Fournier.
• 2000 : 4th of super truck, new pilot : Philippe Arlaud.
• 2001 : ARAVI puts on lane the motor "Common Rail" and finished 3rd of the championship of France with this new motor!
• 2002 : Champion of France on "Premium" (truck race); pilot : J.L. Fournier.
  Vice-champion of France on "Premium" (super truck); pilot : P. Arlaud.
  Vice-champion of Spain on "Premium" (super truck); pilot : P. Arlaud.
• 2003 : Champion of France on "Premium" (truck race); pilot : J.L. Fournier.
• 2004 : Return to the European Championship with a partnership reinforced with Renault Trucks!
• J.L. Fournier ranked 11th of the championship by having running 8 races of 10!
• 2005 : European Championship with Renault Trucks, but the "Premium" with 9 seasons behind him was to old and performances weren't at the height of european rivals! J.L. Fournier will ranked 13th!
• 2006 : Champion of France on "Premium" (truck race); pilot : J.L. Fournier.
• 2007 : Champion of France on "Premium" (truck race); pilot : J.L. Fournier.
• 2008 : Bet in running of the motor DXI13 with PNG; year of study of the new PNG, and 3rd of the championship of France (truck race); pilot : P. Arlaud.
• 2009 : 4th of the championship of France on PNG (truck race); pilot : P. Arlaud.

Since the beginning ARAVI totals more than 250 podiums and some 475 trophies among which twice of best non-professional technical team.

Since arrival in competition, ARAVI had run on all greats europeans circuits, from Finland to Italy and Spain , from England to Hungary ...

Team ARAVI participates, since 1987, in a lot of sporting events; preparation of motor for "Kerax" Paris-Dakar; téléthon...
